who I am

I am an Artist working in Mixed Media, including but not limited to oil stick, charcoal, collage, acrylic, pencils and ink.

I have been described as a surrealist, an expressionist and a few other things that I acknowledge, but by which I do not self-describe. I am about process and title, not classification.

I always begin with my tittle when I work. to me, it focuses my intent while freeing my hand to expressive gesture.

My other passions include the outdoors, animals and my student, by whom I am so inspired.
